Description

Model United Nations is a high impact learning practice that includes both experiential and integrative learning within a learning simulation program. Students learn to research the country that they will represent as well as the function and structure of the United Nations. The conference is interdisciplinary in that it examines a wide range of global issues and requires students to apply their discipline specific knowledge to a larger international issue.

This program gives MSU Texas students the ability to put their coursework into action and to interact with students from around the world.  At this competition, MSU students compete with over 3000 students representing universities from within the US and abroad. Since 2016 the team has won three Outstanding Delegation Awards, Two Distinguished Delegation, and an Honorable Mention Delegation award and 16 individual position paper and four individual outstanding delegate awards in only seven years.

Donations are applied to...

The team will attend the National Model United Nations Conference, April 1-5, 2024 in New York City. Your gift will help offset the cost per student for transportation, hotel, and registration.

Your support will ensure that MSU Texas continues to compete at the international level as one of the most successful Model United Nations teams on the national stage.
