Who We Are
Model United Nations (MUN) is an immersive learning experience that empowers students to develop real-world skills through hands-on simulations. Rooted in the liberal arts, MUN helps shape informed and active global citizens, preparing them for future careers by enhancing their understanding of international diplomacy and collaboration.
As described by the national Model UN organization, this program not only deepens participants’ knowledge of the United Nations and international challenges but also equips them with the tools for peaceful, cooperative conflict resolution.
We Need Your Support
As our MSU Texas students gear up for the National Model United Nations conference in New York City this coming Spring 2025, we are seeking support to get our students registered, assistance with travel to New York, and hotel accommodations. The conference will be April 6-12, 2025 and representing the United Arab Emirates.
The cost of each student to attend is $1,795.47 and we are only $7,000 away from accomplishing that goal!
All gifts go directly to support the MSU Texas Model UN. You are helping to make an impact on their development as leaders who are ready to tackle today’s complex global issues.
