MSU Texas Men’s Basketball is planning an exciting international trip to Taiwan in August 2023! Our team will spend 8 days and 7 nights to compete in the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Basketball Tournament. The MSU Texas Basketball team will play five games and face university teams from the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, The Philippines, and China.
All teams will be housed in a hotel on the grounds of Fo Guang Shan Monastery and contests are played at Kaohsiung Arena, located in the downtown of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Upon completion of the event, a cultural tour is provided.
The total cost for each student-athlete is $2,500 for a team total of $40,000. Can you help us meet our goal? All gifts — regardless of the amount — will help us reach our way to Taiwan.
