The Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences provides all students with a broadly based liberal arts curriculum designed to empower the individual with the fundamental language and analytical skills necessary for a lifetime of learning and growth. Students are prepared, regardless of major, for future success in a rapidly changing world of globalization and specialization.
They distinguish themselves through a wide range of scholarly achievements, with some 68 books and more than 600 published articles, essays, poems, and short stories to their collective credit. Gifts provide resources for students to develop their own strengths.
